On March 15, 1939, Rudolf Zimmermann founded the production company for entertainment electronics RZB (Rudolf Zimmermann Bamberg). First production program: circuit breakers, fuse and connection box components as well as porcelain lamps. In 1971/1974, RZB begins manufacturing safety lights, illuminated signs and communication systems. Projector and rail system portfolio expanded.
2019 company anniversary: 80 years of RZB. 80 years of RZB dedicated to the development and production of lights of the highest quality. The two guiding principles Smart Technology and Excellent Design are the core and basis of every development. In 2019, RZB received the Top 100 Innovator award for the third time.
