Important safety note
SLV recalls the rail projector EUROSPOT GU10!
For us the quality and safety of our products have the highest priority. As part of the internal quality assurance recently we found however a potential security problem. There is possibility of damage to the insulation of the wires inside the projector when using the halogen lamp GU10 50W (QPAR51) in the above-mentioned rail projectors (spotlights).
Under certain unfavorable conditions can in contact with the product casing engender a risk of fatal electric shock. So far no case of damage or loss has been known to people about this product.
Therefore precaution and optionally we recall the headlights with the following article numbers:
143811 Spot EuroSport GU10 for 1-phase power rail, white
143814 Spot EuroSport GU10 for 1-phase power rail, silver-grey
153850 Spot EuroSport GU10 for 3-phase power rail, black
153851 Spot EuroSport GU10 for 3-phase power rail, white
153854 Spot EuroSport GU10 for 3-phase power rail, silver-grey
We will replace at no cost the projector or you will receive a credit note.
What to do?
Please disconnect the rail from the voltage by switching off the power safety and check the nameplate to see if your projector belongs to the recalled products. The nameplate is placed on the projector on the underside of the arch.
If your projector belongs to the recalled products,
you have the following two options:
1. You can exchange it (them) projector (s) with the same type of projector, with reduced power (25 W max.), or alternatively with spotlight from the lighting series "BIMA" (Art.Nr. 143441, 143442, 152241, 152242)
or
2. Receive a credit note. Before replacing please contact your store and ask for a temporary replacement.
For replacement contact your specialist shop.
Meanwhile you can continue to operate your fixtures. However, since it is possible that the housing in case of damage could be under voltage, please DON'T TOUCH the rail lamp (spot) during operation.
If requested and received a temporary replacement, please change the headlights. Move existing projectors based on the directives in the Annex.
You can also first deliver your headlights in your store and then request a replacement.

Keep the spotlight firmly and turn the headlights switch on the adapter of the power rail to "Off". |
